Nan only has weeks to live - do I tell her I'm pregnant?

Hey everyone,

My nan only has weeks to live, and I want to share my news with her so badly. But I'm so scared it will upset her and make her sad if I do - but I know I will regret it of I don't. I'm only about 8 weeks, and I get to see her in her home for the first time since May.

The baby is due the week around her birthday. And it's my first and would be her first great grandchild.

I don't know what to do!

Hi Sparklebabs,
Most definitely do. I totally agree with what Flummoxed and David have said. You cannot deny your gran the pleasure of knowing that there is another little one on the way. Although there may be sadness that they may never meet, there will be great joy that there is another generation of the family on it's way.
It has been so hard to have loved ones in care homes and to have beenunable to visit.
My thoughts are with you, your gran and the new baby. Make sure that you have no regrets.
