  • Hello Speciallady and a warm welcome to Cancer Chat,

I am so sorry to hear that your mum's lung cancer has now spread to her bones. It must have come as a real shock to you and it's normal that you are finding it really hard to accept. Our information page on advanced lung cancer will hopefully be useful to you and help you understand what to expect when living with advanced lung cancer and what treatment may be offered to your mum.

I hope you won't mind but I have slightly edited your title to make it a little bit more specific which should hopefully attract more replies from others who have also been affected by advanced lung cancer.

If you ever have any questions about your mum's diagnosis, don't hesitate to get in touch with our cancer nurses on 0808 800 4040 - their line is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.

    Best wishes,
