Hi ya.
just looking for support! My amazing dad battled AML 5 years ago and had a stem cell transplant and was well for 5 years. However it's returned and he had 3 rounds of chemo and the first course caused a stroke but he recovered well. Today we have received the news it's back and he nothing else can be done. He's 64 and will be 65 on Sunday. His white blood count is very high and he's going down hill quick. He wants to remain at home having spent 4 months in hospital with no visitors due to Covid. Waiting for nurses to get in touch tomorrow to set up a bed etc.
I need help on how o deal with this and I have three young children one of which is 7 and twins whom are 3. My 7 year old is very sensitive and had a stroke last year and is so scared of death and I know I can't protect him from from this.
Also how to help my mum whom has been with my dad since a teenager and is saying she wants to go with dad.
Any help would be great
