Pancreatic cancer

Hi my dad who is 80 went to hospital as he was jaundice and not eating he had a stent put in and we was told he has terminal cancer is stage 4,after the stent he got septis and caught COVID.thank god he survived all of this and was in hospital for  3 weeks, he came out of hospital and was very unwell we went back to hospital and the cancer nurse told us that my dad is to unwell to have chemo and he should enjoy his time he has left,my dad is now 3months out of hospital over the last 1 week is unable to keep anything down he only has 1 slice of toast and that comes up,his bk pain is constant and stomach pain he has also lost so much weight his bones are now showing heartbreaking to see. We are going to go bk to hospital next week as his stent maybe blocked we don't know why he's now not eating,has anyone had the same problems would another camera be to risky for ma dad to replace stent ? Should we ask for chemo ? Unsure what can be done 

and has morphine and co codimal,

    I'm sorry to hear about all that your Dad has been through over the past few months. It sounds like it's been an incredibly difficult time for you all. 

    It's good to know that he has an appointment at the hospital this week. I do hope that they are able to resolve some of the issues he's currently struggling with and to improve his pain control. 

    You may find it helpful to give our team of nurses a call before the hospital appointment. It may be that they are able to give you some advice about the sort of information that you can ask your Dad's Consultant about.
