Cannabis oil THC

My mum has recently been diagnosed with stage 4 liver cancer, no treatment available. 

Has anyone got any experience or stories after using THC oil specifically with a grim diagnosis like this? 

I know this oil is illegal however she's only 62 so we're willing to try anything to keep her with us a bit longer.

  • Welcome to Cancer Chat Dakt2016 although I'm very sorry that no treatment is available for your mum.

    As you've mentioned, cannabis oil containing THC is illegal in the UK without a prescription and is currently only available on a case by case basis to relieve symptoms for those with epilepsy, adults with vomiting or nausea caused by chemotherapy or people with muscle stiffness and spasms caused by multiple sclerosis (MS). You can read more about this on the NHS website just here.     It's completely understandable you want to do all you can for her but any alternative therapies being considered or used should really be discussed with a medical professional first.
