my dad has had a few health issues in the last year. In 2019 they diagnosed him with gangrene in his foot and then hep c. In february they diagnosed him with liver cancer. The tumor was small and has not spread anywhere (no blood vessels etc) he had been undergoing targeted chemo where they make a cut in the groin and put the medicine directly in the liver. Then his hep c came back. So they said they will put him on pills. He had a scan last week and today he was told he has just 8 months left. Im confused why are they not going in with chemo or reductions of liver or transplants? Health wise i think he said his bloodwork wasnt the best and he has high blood pressure. Im sure there is SOMETHING anything they can do? They advised with the chemo pills it may extend his life by a couple of months but the side effects would be horrible :/ im stuck and i dont know what to do
