Pallative care

Hi 

I'm so confused , my dad has been told that he has only weeks left to live . At the moment he is in pallative care NHS he has been there a couple of days . I was told today that it was only short term ! So my questions are . What happens now ? Where does he go ? Can he go to a hospice through the NHS

    I'm sorry to hear that you've been given this news about your Dad. Undoubtedly this will be a difficult time for you all. 

    It's difficult to say what care the hospital will plan for your Dad as services do vary around the country. If you've not already spoken with the team looking after him then do get in touch with them to discuss what options are available for your Dad.
