Our journey started in February. My 46 year old partner for diagnosed with stage 3 oesophageal cancer. Lots of messing about due to Covid meant things were running late. He was told no operation due to Covid so started chemo radiotherapy for cure. 
We were given dreaded news last week. He has a fistula into his trachea and the cancer has locally invaded the area. No more cure. Palliative treatment. What a flippin blow that was. Months to live?? 
he went into day surgery yesterday to get a stent to cover the fistula. He has ended up being admitted with pneumonia and poor breathing. 
I am absolutely sick with worry. Worry for the hear and now and terrified about the future.
