Hi Sarah
Welcome to the forum, although sorry that you find yourself here at the same time.
Also sorry about your diagnosis. I have some experience of this as one of my parents had NSCLC, albeit it limited.
Noted you don't wish to have chemotherapy or radiation. May I ask what was behind your decision not to opt for treatment? My parent had the same idea as you once they had been diagnosed. It was discussed with the family and of course everybody respected the fact that it was their body and they had the only say as to what went on with it! In the end, chemo was in fact arranged (change of mind).
I hope that you are feeling ok. There are so many friendly and helpful people on this site - I hope some will pop by to say hello xxx
I am 44 and been a NHS nurse then ANP and currently working towards my PHD, so I have seen first hand what this does to people and the family.
i feel angry and upset at the moment.
I'm not surprised you feel angry and upset. Cancer is so unfair, you shouldn't be going through this at a young age (although cancer is awful at any age, of course).
No wise words to offer. Some ladies on here initially refuse treatment and then change their mind (as my parent did). Others are comfortable with their choice of having no treatment. Nobody can tell you what you can/can't do.
Thinking of you and your family - I hope your medical team are supportive and respectful as to your wishes xxxxx
