  • Hello Tam,

Poor you you must be exhausted indeed if you are having to be up all night to look after your dad. I hope that you will hear from others on the forum who have had a similar experience before and that they will have tips and suggestions for you.

This is something you might want  to discuss with your dad's doctor or specialist - they may indeed have some suggestions for you or be able to prescribe something to help him with his bowel issues or to help him have uninterrupted sleep. It would be a huge relief for both you and your dad if you could get this sorted.

Our nurses are available on this free number 0808 800 4040 if you wish to talk things through with them. Their line is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm so don't hesitate to give them a ring if you have any questions.

    Best wishes,
