My close friend has just been diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer after 6.months of inconclusive tests and incredible pain. It had spread to her liver and lymphs as it is late diagnosis despite 6 months of symptoms.
She has been on heavy doses of morphine and steroids for some time after having her gall bladder removed.
The treatment options seem limited and it appears from what I have read that she has2 to 6 months to live.
How will her palliative care be managed during lockdown? She lives with her husband, they are both retired she is 63.
