So Sorry to hear your grandad is dying because he has stomach cancer. 

Sorry he lives in a different country so you can't visit him , darn that corona!

It must be stressful not knowing how long he's going to live.

Is he well enough to talk on phone, skype or any free telecommunications online with you?

Maybe a kind nurse will set up an account for him on social media so he can talk to you all, I'm saying this because many elders are not so familiar with tech.

I can't give you advice, other than to talk to the nurses, or even samaritans for a listening ear, but I can chat online with you if you want a listening ear on here, if so, send me a friend request, as the private messaging facility requires that members are forum friends befoer they can talk, don't feel obliged, but the offer is there.

I'm so sorry to read this , I actually came onto this site for similar reasons. 
My grandma has been poorly for quite some time and after several tests and her going rapidly down hill they have found mass in her stomach. She is so frail now and in hospital. 
I live in a different county to my parents and feel utterly useless. Luckily I've texted her and sent her a card in the post - something light hearted and witty, she loves humor.

luckily they have let my mum visit her which is the main thing. I just hate knowing I may never see her again. It's breaking my heart. 
All I can advise is you let them know how much you love them. That's all that matters. This is such a terrible time for everyone and my thoughts are with everyone x x
