How do I help my mother cope

My grandmother is suffering with lymphoma cancer , she went through all the treatments (chemo and radiotherapy) not long after she finished her treatment her heart rate was extremely high so she was hospitalised for 5 days. We recently found out the cancer has come back but due to her hearts condition the doctors are unable to cure the cancer , only being able to possibly control it through chemo tablets that just slow down the process. My mother is now crying everyday and is blaming herself . I have no clue how to comfort her

  • Live day to day and treasure the time you have. Try not to worry about what the future will bring. Live in the moment. When your grandma has good days, try to do the things she enjoys, go to the places she loves, those that hold special memories for her. Talk about your memories. Leave nothing unsaid. Just be there for your Mum. Keep smiling. And remember laughter is the best medicine. Sometimes you will laugh at the most ridiculous things that shouldn't even be funny, but it gets you through. Stay strong. Think positive.
