Any help appreciated

Hi all ,

Im after some help advice , my mum 67 was had emergency surgery for bowel cancer 3 1/2 years ago it had already spread to liver then lungs , her bowel and liver are now clear but lungs are terminal after her 1st lung surgery 9 tumours appeared three months later,

she's divorced from my dad and refuses me and my brother to appointments, although I've been there for every surgery and all chemotherapy at the start .

today was scan results after 3 months off chemotherapy, she didn't want to talk until I went to visit after work when she broke down..

this kills me as I have very little idea to staging and her expected life span , I gather today sizes have doubled to 21mm although she said cm I think she must mean mm, and she had 9 over both lungs ! Apparently last treatment didn't do much and it doesn't seem like they are hopeful anymore .

I'm getting the opinion it's coming to end of line although she seems reasonable within herself ! And I believe she is thinking the same after tonight .

all advice experience greatly appreciated

  • Isaiah 33:24,Isaiah 35:5,6, Rev 21:3,4  these Bible promises have really helped to soothe the

pain of losing my mom to cancer  7 months, and almost exactly 3 weeks ago, and Now both my father and my stepmother both have pretty serious cancers my stepmother texted me today to tell me that the chemo therapy was no longer working and that the doctor is going to try a hormonal therapy which will only install the cancer my stepmother had uterine cancer that metastasized to her lungs and her back,  I am so heartbroken but I do not live close to them I live in North Carolina and they live in Michigan.i'm so sorry to hear about your mom at this point all you can do is let her know how much you love her and that you were there for her because no doubt she's terrified of what may come let her know you love her and don't be afraid to ask family and friends for support because you're going to need it.

Please contact me if you like I would be happy to hear from you.
