My sister had her first brain tumour when she was 8 which left her almost blind. After years of recovery involving so daily steroid injections and a massively reduced quality of life her cancer went into remission.  At age 30 she developed another tumour. she underwent chemotherapy again.

Aged 35 she was diagnosed with another.  this time it is not responsiding to treatment.  

About 2  years ago she became bed bound and she has been unable to take solid food for over a year. 

she just currently I'm hospital after developing an infection. the hospital can do no more and have started a end of life care plan. 

Cancer took away her sight and it has taken away her dignity before finally taking her life
