Hi vib hope you don't mind me replying (male) thought others would have talked to you by now, as is obvious i don't have brest cancer but have prostate adenocarcinoma, which has gone to lymph nodes, spine, ribs, pelvis and a lung it's uncurable, but can be treated to slow cancer down, i was diagnosed Feb 2016, been living normal life in every way including working,,. Are you having any treatment at all,... Billy

Hi I have breast cancer stage 4 it has returned after 2 years all clear.Its in my lungs and the same breast.I started chemo in August weekly Paclitaxel I had scan 2 weeks ago and it showed the tumours shrunk significantly.I am refusing to give up so I am hoping to have private surgeries to remove breast and do something about the lungs.Maybe I sound mad but I don't want to give up.Anyway if you want ask anything feel free.I don't have the best relationship with my oncologist so I have my own plans.
Hi thanks for reply billygoat i had to leave my job has the work was to heavy for me was baker and i have to be carefull what i do has cancers spread to my bones i have cemo every 3 weeks whitch is keepin cancer in place not spreading anymore srry to here about your cancar nice you can work still vib
Hi denisa thanks for repley no dont you ever give up keep fighting and keep strong i had cancer for about 8 years now when back after 5 years to get all clear to be told it had spread to my bones nice to have someone to talk to i feel so alone at times even though i got people around me sory to hear about your cancar i have cemo every 3 weeks have they gave you tablets called tamoxifem thanks vib
Hello sorry to hear about your diagnosis to.I am not having the tablets because it's hormone negative so I am just having weekly Paclitaxel till mid December then another scan and I don't know what because I dont want to be on chemo forever.I am only 42 and don't want to arrange my funeral yet.Although my oncologist is pretty bad have this negative attitude.
I don't have any side effects except some skin issues on my face I hate it I used to have a baby face now just red face with spots.When I said it to my Oncologist she said I have to put up with it?Well I don't have to so I went to my GP and now I have a nice cream which helps a lot.I hope you have a good and caring oncologist.
I feel lonely too since diagnosis in May then it took them 2 months to decide if it was lung spread to breast or breast to lung.So since then I am at home off sick from work and I am missing work.I can't even work part time because it's in a care home and I have a picc line and there is chance of infection.
