I'm so sorry about your mum's diagnosis. I can't begin to imagine how difficult this must be for you but I just wanted you to know your post has been seen and that we are here to support you.

Hi Manders73, sorry to hear about your Mum. My husband has stage 4 cancer and I know how difficult it can be to concentrate on mundane life but you need to be as normal and steady as you can for Mum. Us Mum's don't want to see our children distressed, it adds to our pain, to see my daughters cry when their Dad was diagnosed upset me more than anything else. So just be there for her, have little chats, remember good times, take things she can eat easily or a bunch of pretty flowers to put by her bed, little things will make her smile. Stay strong for her, she needs your strength. Sending virtual hugs your way. Carol
