My dad has terminal bladder cancer. He's detoriated rapidly this week. He isn't getting out of bed, stopped eating and has now stopped drinking. He's constantly sleeping

my dads passed from Bladder and lung cancer, and he said he was hanging on for xmas, on the 3rd December when we were alone i asked why he was hanging on and putting himself through the pain and upset he said he wanted to be here for me and the rest of us, i explained that we would be ok and seeing him in pain was more hurtful than him not making it to xmas, anyways he said really i said dad you go when you are good and ready if thats after xmas good if its before xmas all good... its your choice to go wheny our ready ... that night be passed peacefully in his sleep with a smile on his face, i didnt think he would go so soon because he had drank pint after pint of milk each day .. but im guessing he decided it was time to go
