Cholangiocarcinoma

My partner was diagnosed with bile duct cancer in January and given a few months to live as its incurable he was offered chemo but refused it as wasnt likely to prolong his life. Hes been well with no symptoms until this week and now hes become very ill very quickly and want to know if theres anything he can take for stomach pain and nausea as hes been vomiting for 2 days and cant keep anything down and hes so weak he can hardly walk.Im really worried now as he cant stop vomiting but refuses to see a doctor. Any advice please ???

  • Hello Tanta 17 and thank you for posting,

I am sorry to learn that your partner has suddenly become unwell. You do need to urgently get some proper medical advice about what is causing this and how best to manage these symptoms.  This isn't something anyone on the forum can provide. I am not sure if you took Troy2017's advice, if not then it is still an option, or you could contact the GP for an urgent appointment or call NHS 111.

I hope the doctors can help to make your partner more comfortable.

Please do give us a call if you want to talk anything over. The number to call is Freephone 0808 800 4040 and the lines are open from 9am till 5pm Monday to Friday.

    Take care,

    Julia
