Been told my mum doesn’t have long left

My mums been battling breast cancer for 18 mins months now and apart from a few infections during Chemo was doing ok.

Then she fractured her femur as the cancer had spread to the bone and had to have an operation which she has not recovered from and the cancer has taken hold of her.

the palliative doctor has told me today that she has short weeks left and unlikely to live past 4 weeks. I’m so sad tonight as she is my rock and I can’t bear the thought of losing her.

Life is horrible at times!

    Hi there Steve ...

    This is a heartbraking time .. it one of the hardest things we go through .. my mum went suddenly with a heart attack and had no chance to even say those things like I was so lucky to have had her for my mum..  she was a wonderful friend and the best nan to my boys too ..

    All I'd say is, take every hour, every day as a day to make memories .. or just to hold her hand .what I'd have given for just one hour. .

    . l bet she is very proud of her boy .. there's nothing l can say to make it easier .. but I do know the pain .. but you'll never loose her .. she will live in your heart,  tucked up safe .. and remember you are half of her... she made you .. she'll see through your eyes ... but hold on right now to every hour you get with her ..  sending you a big vertual hug ....
