So sorry to hear about your Dad, I know its hard as you want to know when its going to happen and it is difficult to say but as you say you have been told days, certainly my close friend neighbour who passed recently showed the signs you are describing and not drinking etc either. ps she died of lung cancer, did not eat, did not drink, slept a lot,was more confused near the end, more uncomfortable but had morphine (patch & liquid top up, I understand some at the end have a syringe driver). Slipped away over night.
