Hello, I am new to this site. I lost my husband to multiple myeloma six years ago. I lost my eldest son to the ravages of cancer on Friday, 9/11/18. He had a radical nephrectomy 18 months ago for kidney cancer which, despite two lots of chemotherapy, spread into his lungs, spine and bones. He was about to start a new regime of immunosuppressant therapy but did not live long enough to start it. The end was sudden and unexpected.
Now I am worried about my younger son and he, too, is worried that this is a hereditary cancer and he is sure to get it.
Can anyone tell me if this is the case?
