Hello! Unfortunately I went through exactly this with my grandma this year, she was found to have terminal bowel cancer after being admitted in hospital with a UTI infection which became into sepsis. It spread to her liver, lung and sadly everywhere via her CT scan. My grandma also had a stroke as well, sadly like yourself the news hasn't hit me well at all and I'm having panic attacks as she sadly passed away last month. Cancer is a cruel disease, it's very very cruel. You need to make her comfortable and as happy as possible lovely and be there for her until the end comes. My grandma sadly passed away in hospital before she could be admitted into a hospice, you need to take each day as it comes and support your friend in every way possible. It isn't easy but take each day as it comes. It's going to be very hard but be there for her and I'm sure she'll appreciate it to the very end. My grandma did, even though she wasn't conscious. I'm sure she would have. Be there and share fond memories of the time you have together. All the love
