Terminal Pancreatic cancer

Last week we found out my dad has cancer. This week we found out it’s in his pancreas and spread to his lymph’s. The doctor wanted to put a limit on how long he had left .

They say they can operate just start chemo to give him longer with us. I’m only 20 I can’t lose my dad and I really don’t know how I’m meant to deal with the fact . I don’t know if I’m definatly going to lose him or not , but I can’t lose him. How on earth I’m I meant to process that ?

  • Hi Becky,

I noticed that no-one had replied to your post yet so I just wanted to stop by and let you know that I'm really sorry to read about your dad's situation and to let you know you're not alone.

Many members here on the forum are also having to come to terms with similar news about their loved ones and hopefully some of them will be along soon to offer their support and advice.

We are here for you Becky and will do what we can to support you and your dad on this journey.

    Kind regards,
