Devistated

Hi everyone,

my nan has triple negative breast cancer and it has spread to numerous places. She has had 1 intensive session of radio therapy which she wasn’t very well after this. The doctors are keep increasing her morphiene dosage each week for the pain. How long does this go on before they put her on a morphiene drip im so terrified. My nan wants to fight this but she is so weak and losing weight. I’m keep trying to get her to get out of bed and at least come downstairs but she’s always in pain when’ she is up. She’s keep telling me she is fighting but I think she’s too weak :( She has been put on steroids to increase her appetite. My nan has never been a big eater but some days she is off her food or won’t eat till much late on. I’ve noticed he past few days she’s keep asking me what day it is and repeating herself sometimes she can’t remember what happened a few days ago?? Is this something telling me she’s close to the end :( she still knows who we are and can have a conversation with us. She only found out in feb and she has got worse. She also has osteoarthritis which isn’t helping in the situation. I can’t stop thinking about her I’m scared to lose her Im due back to work after having 6 months off on mat leave next month and I don’t know how I’m going to cope...

ive lived with my nan since I was 6 weeks old she is like a Mam to me I’m now 26 years old. She literally done everything and anythingfor me all this is such a shock
