Hi there ... so sorry your dads had that diagnosis... it must be such a confusing time... all I can say is what I would do if it were my parent... as I lost my mum suddenly to a heart attach and we had no time even to say good bye ... but if I’d have had a little time with her, I would do lots of hugs , lots of I love yous ... I would make her her favourite food... sit a talk and ask her to tell me all those stories of when she was young ... listen to her favourite songs by ken Dodd ... look through albums ... chat about funny memories we shared ... if she was well enough to take her out wherever she wanted to go ... share a few tears and admit wer both frightened at times ... and ask her what she wanted to say about anything ... I would have made each day a memorable one ... and best of all lay my head on her lap while she stroked my hair ... 

so try and find what would make him happy.. maybe just to sit and hold his hand ... my thoughts are with you ... take care ... Chrisie ️ Xx
