My dad's condition has worsened and the omentum cancer of his diagnosis has quickly progressed. We are looking to palliative chemo in the next week or so if dad can get stronger. We have been told that chemo has a higher chance of success for the other areas of cancer he has but in relation to the omentum it is only 25/30%. We are also told that, as dad as quite poorly, the effect of the chemo could cause a real downturn in his wellbeing. Can anyone comment on chemo results for omentum cancer? Without chemo we have been told he only has 6-12 weeks to live. We are devastated.
