Breast Cancer and anaplastic cancer

My mom journey was and still hard with Cancer. She was diagnosed with breast cancer eight years ago and had a mastectomy , but 6 years later she had a recurrence on the samet mastectomy wound and in some of her bones. She went through tough Cemo and radiation therapy and although doctors told her that she might not survive 6 months , 2 years later and she's still with us. However it seems Cancer had chosen a new battle and a new type. Six months ago she started losing her voise complaining of weight lose , fast heart beat  . Doctors assumed  she's having thyroid gland and started putting her on meds . But her health kept getting worse. And she started having difficulty breathing to the point doctors had to do tracheostomy. While the tracheostomy they did a biopsy for the Thyroid and the result was anaplastic cancer , the most rare and aggressive cancers and it was all over her throut , bone and started in the Liver and lungs .  Doctors is telling us that she only have few weeks left but we can't accept it . We can't imagine that she will lose this battle. How she will be gone, will she suffer? Obe of the doctors told us that we can try couple of cemo session and try to find if the tumor will respond to the cemo. She's so weak and we can't decide, she we keep fighting or give up and let her leave peacefully.
