hi I have a 34 year old son in a similar position.   His cancer was caused by BRAF 600 mutation, his bowel tumour was removed but his liver is full of tumours.  He has had two trial drugs the first being bevacizumab (spelling) he had this with other chemo but after 3 cycles he had dvts so it was stopped.  He then had chemo plus vermurafenib (spelling) there was a period when some of the small tumours shrank but now it is not holding the cancer tide back and he had stopped chemo.  He has been down to the Christie clinic to see if he is eligible for SIRT selection internal radioactive therapy.  There are web sites where you can read about this and the hope is the radioactive spheres hit the tumours and hold them back.  I cannot tell you about any other trials but your family members oncologist should be able to give them information.  My thoughts are with you and your family.xxxx

Hi many thanks for reply it is my sisters husband so very sad :( I am sorry to hear about your son too. Where is this treatmeant shirt based? Where are u guys based? I don't think sirt is availBle until next year?.  Is your son eligible for it? I hope it works for him.
