so my mum was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer back in September it had spread to her scalp as skin cancer so she underwent chemo 3 cycles of 3 weeks. She found out last week that it did not work at all and has spread to her liver and they are doing no further treatment. I am no concerned it may have gone to her brain as for the last week her speech has been really slurry as if she has had about 5 vodkas and is saying it is because she has thrush in her mouth.She also keeps asking me the same questions as if it hasnt sunk in the first time. I am pregnant with my first child only 9wks and so scared my mum will not be here. They cant tell her a timescale but i really need some idea has anyone else dealt with this situation before? xx
