Hi all, 

I just discovered this forum in my research. My mother was diagnosed with lung cancer initially, that has now spread to her shoulder. She has been told she has months rather than years to live and that we need to start looking into pallative care. She lives in Margate whereas my sister and I are based in London. 

We are looking into Pilgrims hospice currently; has anyone experience with them? They seem great.  

I have found great peace in reading a lot of the posts on here. Mum is getting progressively worse and is starting to shut us out. It is so nice to seem that people understand this.
