Hi Amenda,
I am so sorry to hear this. I do have a friend who has a sister with stage 4 breast cancer and she has been around for about 2-3 years. I think the best thing to do is to live in the moment. How are you feeling physically? Do you have people you are able to talk to? Just wanted to send my thought your way!!
Welcome to Cancer Chat Amenda although I'm really sorry to hear about your situation and the reason it has brought you here.
I see you mentioned that you're seeing oncology this week. I'm not sure what day you are going but I just wanted to wish you luck and to let you know that we'll be thinking of you. I know you're not expecting much but do come back and let us know how you get on.
I also want you to know that you are not alone and we are here for you if you need us. If you feel like you need to chat to someone about what you are going through our cancer nurses will be more than happy to help. They are available Monday - Friday between 9a.m-5p.m and if you are based in the UK you can call them for free on 0808 800 4040.
Wishing you all the best,

Hi Amenda. I have been where you are and I want to give you hope. My breast cancer came back 18 months ago after nine years. Same situation as you - shortness of breath. I have spread to liver, lungs and suspected spread in my bones. I have been through FEC for the second time and now on Capecitibane tablet chemo. It is hard to live with this diagnosis and it is devastating, particularly at the start. But LIVE you must! 18 months later I am still here and hope for many more months and years. For me the chemo is doable and luckily I am able to work full-tine and I have many fun times. I hope and wish the same for you xxxx
Hi Amenda
