I was wondering if anybody could have a chat with me my uncle is currently on palitive care for throat cancer he was giving 2 months to live but is still fighting 7 months later....
A nephew of mine had throat cancer when quite a young man , many yeras ago, he had surgery , now he is doing well and speaks through a voice box.Maybe your uncle will also survive,I hope so
The chances of him surviving are slim unfortunately he has never had any treatment due to a very severe head injury a few years ago he was unable to have an operation to remove the tumor and due to being a recovering alcoholic with liver failure he was unable for chemo or radiotherapy...my concern at this moment is the secretions that are coming from the tumour are causing him to choke quite alot just this morning he choked on a large peice of whatever from the throat along with a lot of blood....I just need to know what to expect more or less as I don't want to watch my uncle choking to death
