First of all let me say how sorry I am to hear that your husband has cancer, I wouldnt wish it on my worst enemy. I am also 32 but it is my mum that was diagnosed with stage 3 terminal lung cancer last August and it has now metastesised into her lymphatic system, Liver and spine and it is now stage 4.
The best thing to do is talk, to family, friends, McMillan nurses and all the nurses and doctors that will be involved in your husbands care. I bottled things up for a while and that was the worst thing that I could have done. It made me a different person, and not a nice one at that.
You will go through various stages, anger, upset, guilt and a feeling of numbness. Just remember that throughout this ordeal you have to look after yourself aswell.
Remember the good times and try and do what you can with your husband with what time he has left and make some great memories.
