Welcome to the forum but sorry for the reason  you find yourself here. This is a good place to just say what you feel and sometimes it is easier to put it down in writing than talking out loud.  I can honestly say there is no right or wrong way to feel when we are about to lose a loved one. I hope you have family and friends who are supporting you but  there are many who use the chat forum just as y ou have done to seek support.  I lost my husband last year and thus my children their Dad and yes, it is the hardest thring to have to go through.  Take strength from those near you and somehow  you will cope, maybe hour by hour or day by day. I don't know how things have gone for you in the past 8 hours or so - I do hope you've got him home and comfortable.

Try not to think of the future now - you may have only days or even hours so concentrate on them - you'll have plenty of time to worry about that afterwards

I feel numb too, he should be home within the next 3 hours thank god he made it through the night, I'm sorry to hear about your current situation, you're definitely not alone unfortunately a huge number of people are going through what we are, thank you for your kind words also (:
