Oh I am so sorry to hear that, my dad passed away in January with lung cancer, but it was not the cancer that beat him as it got controlled w radio, was the last session of chemo, it brough his immune system down and he got pneumonia etc and that is what took him away from us so soon.

The radiotherapy did work for my dad, but the chemos depend so much on the person per se as some may respond better than others, he spent a year fighting it until he could not fight it anymore.

All i can say, is that you need to enjoy every minute and be strong, show yoursekf positive in front of him and support him.
