Well today grandad has had a very bad day he has been in bed all day and only got up at 8.30 tonight and now I really don't think he has long left I am going to lose him
Hi Lauren, I'm so sorry to hear about your granddad getting worse. This is so hard to go through and there really isn't anything that can be said or done to ease your pain from knowing you will soon lose him. Just know that he is lucky to have you in his life and even though he will be gone, you will have such treasured memories of him.
Come on to the forum any time and write about your fears and feelings. It does help to get it out there, rather than holding it all in.
Very sorry to read your latest post. This is so not an easy time for you and the family. Do not be afraid to let the emotions loose as they offer some release. If you are close by grandad keep chatting to him as we were told this is very often the last sense to to go. Sending a virtual hug.Jules
