Hi, no my mum is not on any morphine, she isnt really in any pain so we are totally confused as the consultants said they wouldnt be able to offer any kind of treatment as the cancer is too advanced, but yey she looks really well, all things considered We have been told when she does detioriate it will be very quickly so we are taking each day as it comes.

Hi Lisa I'm in the same boat my mum was diagnosed 4 weeks ago with metastatic cancer it origanally started in the breast 3 year ago she had surgery to remove the breast she was doing great for the first 2 year but then started complaining of pain in her stomach And she started loosing weight fast  she kept getting told it was trapped wind it went on for ages until 4 weeks a go she was admitted to hospital as her stomach was huge after scans and blood tests mum was told she had cancer of the stomach liver lungs and spine she was sent home and told someone would be intouch about chemo it's been 4 weeks since mum was diagnosed and no record of chemo even been an option mums not eating she's screaming in pain most days she's restless sleeping loads not talking much and she's lost so much Weight she just a bag of bones I've asked doctor after doctor how long my mum has left and not one person will answer my question it's breaking my heart to see mum like this and no one seems to want to talk about it
