Maybe born at the right time?

Hi, I'm Liam and have terminal cancer, woe is me and I'm so sad blah blah. Born In "66" so grew up in 70s and early 80s. That's it life story. I've never been the one to doom scroll or watch anything on such as a small screen like my phone, but can unbelievably watch Utube on a very large paper thin 65" TV which makes much more common sense than a 3" screen. So I came across this reaction TV sort of section that where playing comedy shows and films from the 70s, 80s, 90s with the gen Z   people crying with laughter at thing that can't be shown now on TV because of the offense that might cause someone in our society. Its sad to watch the laughter and also reason with why its so necessary for such beautiful and hilarious comedy to be a weapon instead of JOY that unites us in FUN.

  • Hi Liam,

What you say will resonate with so many other members of our community who were born at around the same time but it's nice to see that the Gen Z people are still enjoying these old shows and films from a time they never experienced.  It's nice to have a good laugh like this and for different generations to be able to have fun together!

Do you have any favourite show or film from that time?

  • Hi Lucie, thankyou so much for kind response. There would be to many shows or films to think of that due to a cancel culture or the pressure of a small minorities that cannot been seen anymore, to name. The internet is a wonderful curve in human history, but these younger  generations are becoming highly strung and unable to just laugh at themselves, its literally heart breaking. Anyway I can still laugh till I cry at the most pc inappropriate funniest things you'll ever see. Happy days.  Liam. Take care.
