I've been edited or I'm going insane.

I'm overjoyed at the thought of my last post being edited, but the problem is I'm not 100% sure. All the meds and especially the antibiotics that are running rampant in my blood system its a wonder I know the day of the week. Anyway dying aside I will refrain from bringing alcoholic beverages into my conversations as this may provoke other people who are like me also dying to die just that bit quicker. So I am really sorry about my last post of which nobody actually saw so no harm could have actually come to anybody(except my sanity). Thankyou Happy Days.

    Hi Furlongs, 

    I am one of the Cancer Chat moderators and had a look to check if a post of yours had been edited recently and I couldn't find anything so I wanted to check with you if it's your last post with the title Looking for the Upside you are referring to? I couldn't find any trace that it had been edited. It may be that your thread didn't somehow get published - one of those technical blips that can sometimes happen! I will make sure to double check properly though and I am sorry for the inconvenience caused.

    Usually if a post is edited by a moderator, you would be contacted and informed that the edit has been made. Don't apologise though you have done nothing wrong and we love reading your thoughts and perspectives which I find very inspiring.

    Sometimes new posts simply disappear on this platform, for no apparent reason. 
    Other times, you need to refresh the page on your browser to see the up to date page, complete with your post. 
    Trust me, the mods will let you know if your post has been removed or edited. The most common reason is if a useless hospital, consultant or cancer centre has been referred to by name! 
    Naming and shaming is great, but I’d rather my donations were spent on research, rather than paying damages to a useless consultant or badly run hospital lol
