VENTING (in real life I never complain)

So its tongue cancer late stage I'm guessing, haven't heard from my palliative nurse in two weeks, which is ok I'm not a little baby. Tongue more swollen and bleeding so I went to doctor( I sound drunk and dribbling not funny if your trying to make an appointment).  I have stop and tell you about something that happened three weeks ago my home nurse(Clare, wonderful person) said she thinks I have an infection and need to see doctor today and that she would give me a note to give to the receptionist at the surgery. So I sheepishly approached the nice young lady and said I needed an appointment today if possible and then handed her the note from my palliative nurse Clare, which she took, read, then reached across and squeezed my hand and said no problem at all. I saw in her eyes genuine empathy and nearly (but never would) brought a tear to my eye. Anyway the doctor gave me more oxynorm liquid and an increase to 125 mg pregabalin clonmel  twice a day but strangely never looked in my mouth!  .   I live on my own no friends and relatives to speak of and do you know what really helps me out, its just a couple of large Vodka's after all  I'm dying but HAPPY.
