Hello, I was diagnosed in June, I've just started my third round of treatment , I have chemo and immunotherapy this week and then just the chemo next week, then a week off.
I've been given a timeline of 15-21 months with treatment. It's a very difficult pill to swallow because I feel so well and I'm full of life!
I'm a fun loving person with lots of plans and things I want to do and places I want to see.
I'm having a scan in about 6 weeks to see how the treatment is working, so fingers crossed.
I've had a pretty traumatic life so believe it or not, this isn't the worst thing that's happened to me, lol. I'm just glad it isn't one of my kids - I couldn't bear to lose another one.
I keep singing "Isn't it Ironic" by Alanis Morissette
I remain positive. The reason I'm still up at this time is the treatment, the steroids but mostly because I went out this evening and I was a bit careless and drained 2 cans of coke so I'm caffeined up to the eyeballs.
