I'm sorry to hear that you've recently started treatment for AML. I hope that your session in March didn't cause you too many problems and that you've been feeling OK since.
It's difficult for us to be able to comment on what your treatment regime might be, as there are so many different factors to take into consideration. Have you been given details for a specialist cancer nurse to support you through this process? If so, then do give them a call. Hopefully, they will be able to give you some information that will offer you reassurance. Alternatively if you don't have a cancer nurse, then give the Consultant's secretary a call or ring the chemotherapy unit and someone should be able to let you know what the plan is.
