My Dad is dying

My dad has lymphoma and was admitted to hospital last week with flu.  He is so weak he can't fight off the bacterial infection and the haematologist now says that a scan reveals the lymphoma has spread to his stomach.  He can't eat anything and he's loving to palliative care,  hopefully in a hospice.  I just want some advice on how to support him through this

  • Hello Janey

I'm so sorry  , but I'm also glad the palliative team are going to be with you now . We've found them so very kind and helpful . They are there for you too , so don't be worried about asking their advice on anything ,at any time  . They seem to know the answer to everything  , so we feel very supported.

Keep strong ,keep calm and trust the hospice to care for your dear Dad ,

    Zillah
