Hello I am after some advice. My mum has terminal lung cancer and is receiving palliative care at home. She has had a pleural effusion and drains about 200ml every day, on Monday they discovered fluid around her heart and the lungs have stopped draining fluid only 30 ml in 3 days. My query is why has the fluids around the lung stopped and is it this fluid moving to the heart?
