  • Hi Shazsad,

Welcome to Cancer Chat. I'm so sorry to hear of what you are currently going through with your parents - this sounds like a lot to be dealing with and I hope you are getting on as OK as can be.

It's very difficult to advise on your question. It's only really the doctor and medical team involved in your mum's care who will be able to provide relevant information. If you haven't already, try to discuss things with them when you can.

Our nurses are also available if you'd like to talk things through, although they won't be able to advise specifically to your mum. You can reach them on freephone 0808 800 4040 - Monday-Friday, 9-5.

I hope you're able to find out more soon. In the meantime we are always here if you need it and hopefully the forum can be of some help to you.

    Wishing you all the best,

    Ben
