Hi Kazzajj,
A very warm welcome to our forum.
I am so sorry to hear that your mum is in end of life care. As we near the end, we eat and drink less, until we eventually stop altogether. We also tend to sleep a lot more too. Don't be afraid of asking questions of her care team. No question is stupid.
Please keep in touch and remember that we are always here for you.
Kind regards,
Jolamine xx
Hello, so sorry to hear about your mum. My Dad went through the same. At first, I would get frustrated that he wouldn't eat but came to accept it. I guess I was hoping food would make him better even though I knew it wouldn't. It's a horrible time the end of life care period and i wish you all the very best. I found some comfort in that he was sleeping all the time as he appeared peaceful. Take care.
