I'm new on here today and am sorry to read of your experiences and diagnosis.

Just posting to say that I too don't have family and, now, no close friends that I can really share my own cancer diagnosis with (endometrial).  So I can imagine how you feel. My GP put me in touch with the Sue Ryder organisation who are beyond brilliant - they got in touch, came to see me, and keep in touch so I don't feel so alone.  Do try contacting them you'll be pleasantly surprised.

How are you doing today? Are you watching the football later, or do you try to avoid? I'll be watching with the sound turned down as a little lad I know plays as a goalkeeper for his school so it gives me something to talk to him about xx

I’m a bit better than yesterday. I did watch the football the other day. How lovely that he plays for his school xx

I've just got back from quick shopping and there were queues of people loaded with alcohol to watch the football   At least it's good for the economy!
