I am new to this forum but I finding it very difficult to get through this awful pain of losing my husband.
In October last year he was diagnosed with oesophageal cancer after going into hospital for black poo.
He started chemo on the 3rd January and although very sick afterwards got through the first night. The second night he had a bad headache and lost the sight in his right eye. I called oncology and they said just keep an eye on it.
He felt fantastic on the Friday but the Saturday he was feeling awful and on the Sunday morning he had a stroke.
He was rushed to hospital to get some of the clot removed but after 2 weeks in hospital he got aspiration of the lung and then pneumonia which led to sepsis along with covid, he then passed away.
The funeral is next week but I'm crying all the time and dread sorting bills out etc.
Any comfort would be amazing.
