My dad got diagnosed with terminal lung cancer that had spread all through his body

My dad was fine up until the 10th november 2023 he thought he had a chest infection end of october so he was given some antibiotics from his doctors but on the 10th of november he couldnt breath i toke him to a&e to get him checked over they said his right lung was full of fluid an it needed draining and he will be fine then to be told couple days later he has lung cancer so they drained the fluid off and sent it off to see what cancer cells was in the fluid they then referd him for a biopsy and talc put in space between lungs to stop fluid from filling back up but instead they fitted him with a ipc drain which was useless would never tell people to have one fitted i think thats what made my dad worse in all ways then came home to wait for biopsy results the drain started to leak on the outside just pure blood constanly so he ended up back in hospital to tell me he needs a stich but hes basicaly diying so we ent going to put one in the way people get treated is discusting so up untill the day he passed he was left bleeding oit constantly from the outside of the drain then for them to tell me they dont fink he is going to make it to christmas which was only 9 days away my dad just wanted to be home so i managed to get him home with in 24hrs he came home tryed to get him as comfortable as we could the way people get treated is discusting my dad worked all his life to get treated so bad theres no harm in trying stuff to help but they dont useless they should recieve a star treatment until last breath towards the end i got told it had traveled to his heart in 2 places and his liver aswel as his lungs i think they new it was bad from the start just never said anyfink really but sadly my dad lost his battle on the 5th of january 2024 i was with him when he passed i slept next to him holding his hand my dad was my best friend we have never been apart untill now i miss him so much he was a big part of mylife and to watch the suffering is not nice one thing i will never forget but i told my dad when he got told i will be with him every step of the way what ever the outcome and i did even though it killed me to watch i made a promise to him and i did it
